If analyses of benefits and costs are going to help people make evidence-based decisions, we need sunlight on study designs, data sources and assumptions.
I agree. I think #socialvalue (in its widest UK public procurement definition) could benefit from a transparency standard. Regardless of the definition or method used for coming up with values, a simple certificate (like an EPC?) for general audiences. Not assessing right or wrong (or even good enough). Just stating transparently what has and hasn't been done.
