I'm persuaded of the importance of REEM! Realist evaluation would seem to add a lot of credibility to economic evaluation. If you were a planner, how willing would you be to put resources towards a program that appeared have a good BCR but the mechanism of which nobody could demonstrate? Realist evaluations make program designs more credible, so they make decisions easier.

Thanks, Julian. Reading this feels like hanging out with you and talking something through. Your style is accessible and relatable. I've now gone through the slides and my biggest concern is the counterfactual. I guess I've got more reading to do!
